Translational Cancer Genetics Laboratory (TCG)
 

The laboratory focuses on cancer biology and genetics, with an emphasis on neuroendocrine tumors,
aiming to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor progression, identify novel therapeutic targets, and evaluate the efficacy of innovative drugs against aggressive tumors. To this end, we employ advanced experimental models (primary cell organoids, 3D co-cultures, engineered cell lines, and in vivo xenografts) integrated with genetic, molecular, functional, and transcriptomic analyses.

The laboratory also coordinates the European Erasmus+ project MAD4CANCER, aimed at establishing a Joint Master's Degree in Cancer Biology with the University of Montpellier (France) and the IRIC at the University of Montréal (Canada).
