Office fo Sustainable Actions (OSA)
Environmental sustainability is one of the current issues and the whole world is called upon to reduce its impact on the planet. There are many actions to be taken and in 2015 Agenda 2030 was born, which the 193 UN countries joined. With its 17 goals and 189 sub-goals, the Agenda constitutes the new global plan for sustainable development that is equally divided into three dimensions: economic, social and environmental.
The University of Pavia joined Agenda 2030 with a series of actions and in 2020 OSA (Office for Sustainable Actions) was born, which includes and promotes them, the DBB participates in these actions both with research and with teaching by proposing sustainable development in a biological-environmental key with particular regard to biodiversity, the responsible use of resources in the agri-food sector and the development of a circular economy.
The main DBB contact for OSA is Prof. Ilaria Canobbio (Ilaria.firstname.lastname@example.org).
