Lorenzo More's seminar: " Emotions in Synapses: Towards Enviromimetic Drugs for Sociability"

It will take place on Wednesday 14th of May 2026, at 2 pm in Aula C6 (Engineering Building, Via Ferrata).

 

Lorenzo More is a Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience at the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Lancashire, UK. This year, he is also serving as a Visiting Professor in our Master's degree program in Neurobiology.

After a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Padova, he carried out postdoctoral research in pharmacology in Germany, followed by post-doctoral positions in Italy and UK, where he worked on preclinical models of Alzheimer's disease, Schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease.

His current research focuses on how the central nervous system adapts to the environment.
