National Geographic funds individuals working on projects in science, conservation, storytelling, education, and technology. Two type of grants: level I, are designed for individuals who may be earlier in their career, those looking to establish themselves better in their field; level II, for more established researchers.

Recipient: Scientist from all over the world.

Budget: up to $20,000 for level I projects; up to $100,000 for level II projects.
