ALS work with the Prevention and Protection Service and with the Health and Safety Service to monitor risk situations to which staff are exposed (Legislative Decree 81/2008).
ALS assist the worker in defining his own safety data sheet, using the "SafetyLive" application (use University credentials). ALS will communicate to the offices responsible for starting or completing health surveillance.
The worker who uses carcinogenic and mutagenic agents is required to report it in his/her file and record its use at each use, updating the carcinogenic and mutagenic agent handling register. At the end of the year the ALS will collect the completed register for delivery to the competent offices.
The University, through the Safety and Health Service, offers to workers (PhD students, research fellows, researchers and professors) a lab coat rental and washing service. ALS will manage requests.
