FEBS Excellence Awards are intended to support research projects in the molecular life sciences from early-career group leaders.

Recipient: Applicants should be scientists who have obtained their PhD degree within the past eight years. Prior to the current employment, the applicant should have worked in a different country for at least two years.

Budget: max €100,000 over 3 years; The FEBS Excellence Award is a support to be used exclusively to purchase small equipment (for a maximum of €15,000) and/or consumables related to the project.
