Optogenetics Laboratory

The Optogenetics Laboratory is an equipment for the stimulation of neurons within neuronal circuits and cardiomyocytes, to be used on in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo samples. 

This instrument is equipped with 2 micromanipulators, for the electrophysiological analysis of two neurons at the same time. The displays a LASER lighting system (blue band, 473 nm) to stimulate photosensitive proteins, coupled to an infrared LED lighting system (780 nm).
