Bio-Safety Level 2 Plus (BSL2+) Laboratory

The Biosecurity 2 Plus laboratory (BSL2+, BioSafety Level 2 Plus), is used for activities involving the manipulation of pathogens (e.g. viruses, bacteria). This laboratory is fully equipped for the manipulation of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells as well as arthropods. The equipment includes hoods, incubators, centrifuges, a fluorescence microscope and small benchtop instrumentation.
