Population genomics allows us to reconstruct the origins, migrations, adaptations, and interactions among human groups, domestic animals, commensal species, and invasive species. Our approach studies genetic variability, from markers inherited along maternal and paternal lines to genomic data, into histories of origin, admixture, genetic drift, and natural selection.
This theme brings together the various laboratories listed below and, at the same time, develops lines of research shared by the entire Population Genomics group:
