Physiology and Nutrition
Physiology covers an enormous range of research fields relating to bases and mechanisms of normal cellular and systemic functions, with approaches typically characterized by the application of the highest possible levels of quantitative accuracy.
The physiologists of the Department of Biology and Biotechnology “L. Spallanzani ”are mainly active in the fields of Neurophysiology, Cellular and Molecular Physiology and Cardiovascular Physiology, as well as in some other application areas.
